Google Panda and its Effects on Big Brand Marketing

The Google Panda update was designed to crack down on marketers pushing low quality content for SEO gain. However, some have speculated that the update hinders small business SEO efforts while rewarding big brands. After all, the big brands would have no problems producing quality content whereas smaller businesses would struggle to find the funding to compete.

Coachella's Live YouTube Stream and What to Learn From it as an Event Marketer

Those who unfortunate enough not to be at Coachella 2011 up front and live, myself included, had to settle for Coachella's lie YouTube stream which had surprisingly good quality. One of the best ways to market an event and to also ensure good publicity for future events is to provide high-above par quality content. In this case it was the music, and those who weren't there live got the best viewing they could possibly get from their computers.
